Terezín is widely known for its dark history of the 20th century, which has created a strong stigma surrounding the city. Most tourists visit only briefly and rarely experience the city beyond its historical associations. As a result, the city struggles with declining population, limited financial resources, and weaker community integration. The aim of this project is to bring new life into the city in a way that also benefits its residents. The proposal focuses on these main aspects: cyclists who pass through the city everyday, the river as an attractive and hopeful natural element, and the strengthening of communication and social connections through improved public space.
